NCP Blog: Got A Hobby?

Do you have a favorite hobby? All of us have different interests. A hobby can help take your mind off the stresses of everyday life. It can give you the opportunity to learn a new skill. If/when you find a hobby you enjoy and are passionate about, you will look forward to doing it! There are so many different types of hobbies, from binge-watching your favorite shows to crafting or fishing, it’s nice to take some leisure time to do something you enjoy. We’re all busy here at NCP, but we recognize the importance of work/life balance.

 

My Favs

 

Some of my favorite hobbies are gardening and going on walks or hikes, I love to be outside. Although I take a break from these hobbies due to the cold winter months where I live, I still try to get outside for a walk whenever I can. I also love taking pictures, especially of landscapes, landmarks, birds, sunsets, etc.

Watching TV– One of the most popular hobbies worldwide is watching television.

 

Bird Watching -This hobby continues to grow in popularity and draws people young and old.

Music – Played, heard, and loved worldwide, music brings people together.

 

Gardening – Many people work in the garden to produce food, while others appreciate that it passes the time and offers a sense of accomplishment.

 

Video Games – There are games to suit virtually any personality and preference.

 

Of course, there so many more hobbies such as cooking, photography, hiking, exercising, writing, drawing, sewing, knitting, painting, dancing, etc. There are just too many to mention!
