NCP Blog: An Apple A Day

There are many types of apples found in U.S. supermarkets, which at times can be overwhelming, especially in the fall months. Some are best for cooking and baking, while others are enjoyed as a healthy snack.

Apples are full of fiber and Vitamin C and range from sweet to tart. Pair them with peanut or other nut butters, slices of cheese, or cut them up for a fresh, crispy addition to a salad. Any way you slice it, apples are a nutritious addition to your diet!

NCP Panel Apple Data

I was able to gather some NCP panel member data about apples that you may find a-peel-ing:

The top 5 months in which panel members purchased the most apples (in the past 12 months):

1. October

2. November

3. January

4. March

5. April

(Panel members purchased the least amount in the month of July.)
